Jewelry Critique of the Week !!

So I've decided every Monday I will be critiquing a piece of jewelry that catches my eye. It will keep the idea of a dreadful Monday positive, and perhaps inspire you to add some similar accessories to your outfits.

To top last week's fail, is this hammered gold-plated cuff by Etro an Italian design company. Zoe-MG, I die. The architecture of this cuff alone is enough to make we want to slap it on my wrist, when paired with the color gold there is no doubt that this piece was not made to be worn indoors.
Pair it with a black turtle-neck sweater, or wait till the spring/summer time and wear it with a printed chiffon maxi dress for that "I'm on a vacation" look.

Etro is very adamant on their production procedures, most of their jewelry pieces are actually individually handmade. Enjoy!

Yeah, I kind of wish blog entry titles could have some type of intro music, in this case... FOOTBALL intro music!!
Yes yes, Fashionistas watch sports too, but I will be honest, picking a team to root for in this year's Superbowl is a tough one. Should I lean towards the famous Black and Yellow team, the Steelers, thanks to rapper Wiz Khalifa, or should I side with the DMV residents in their resentment towards Pittsburgh and root Green Bay Packers? Nonetheless, I'm much more concerned with which nacho and big screen party I will be attending, and which jersey will be easiest to pair with a pair of skinny jeans or jeggings! Crucial, I know!

Annual Warehouse Sale !!

So I mean I had to go. Closing Crystal City's, Crystal Couture week was none other than the Annual Warehouse Sale in Alexandria, VA held at the George Washington Masonic Memorial.
It was a riot, so many style savvy individuals were pushing, shoving and calling fives for the best deals. (up to 85% off, who wouldn't!?) I was able to snag a few great pieces as well as my mother whom I dragged along with me.
This event definitely wins points in my book, it is no doubt that I will become a regular to the Annual Warehouse Sale, however next year expect me first in line ready to bust down those double doors!

Life lesson for you Loves!

During my random outburst, I fell upon this piece, I like the idea, with the claws grasping at the precious stone, however this stone isn't precious.. it is the color of murky waters. Not too pleasant, a simple onyx would have done the trick. Nice try Elizabeth and James.
