Vogue Me Please !!
As lovely as she is! My mother knows my Fashion Icons, and Rihanna just so happens to be one of them. Can you believe this is her first time on the cover of American Vogue!? C'mon Anna Wintour!! The breathtaking images were photographed by American portrait photographer, Annie Leibovitz, her work is NUTS!
This issue primarily focuses on embracing your curves. That's great!
It makes me happy to see that American Vogue is acknowledging all its readers!
Enjoy!

Catch Craze!
Following yesterday's theme, I know you guys have been noticing a specific shoe trend. Besides Jeffrey Campbell's whole fashion footwear line, Jessica Simpson's Dany cork pumps are all the rage!
Bloggers around the world are wearing these bold heels with whatever they can find in their closet, whether it be a long maxi dress for a causal day look or some opaque tights for an evening out. You have to admit, they're pretty sexy.. and almost the exact cut-out version of Jeffrey Campbell's Lita lace up boot that has also caught craze!
Enjoy!

He's All the Rage !!
Z-Omg. If your fashionably involved, it's not easy to surpass the most recent spring/summer trend that has caught fire recently. Yes im talking about the Jeffrey Campbell shoes !!!!
Pure talent I tell ya! Its a family owned fashion footwear label based in L.A., and their inspiration is US, the stylish outgoing girl on the go. Check out their website here, which includes lookbooks, a blog, and information on tradeshows.
Im debating on snagging these!! Thoughts?

I know I know
I know.
"Where have you been?" you say? Running around to be honest. Let us catch up!
Immediately after DC Fashion Week the city spat up a second week dedicated to fashion, the 1st Annual Intellectual Property Students' Association Fashion Law Week, where they rose awareness on design piracy and the importance of copy writing. You know, like the freakish similarities in a Gucci "inspired" Forever21 belt.
I have also begun writing for a local online mag Glamourina!! Oh so awesome, so check us out!
In addition to that I have been assembling a collaborative test shoot for KIC Thrift Boutique.
AND I finally registered for my first styling classes! I'm excited beyond words!
Last but not least, yesterday I purchased the Chris Brown album F.A.M.E, both original and deluxe. Who's judging? Not you!
Its amazing, trust me.
Before I leave to run around some more, like a chicken with its head cut off I just HAD to do a Jewelry Critique of the Week!
These guys, are Marc Jacobs' Zip It sud earrings. Creative, but tacky, if one was to wear these it should be evenings only with an 8pm curfew. I wonder what YKK, the largest zipper manufacturers in the world, think about this one.
Enjoy!

A Hint of Miki
Every so often, I would love to feature some of my stylish friends, clients, and people that inspire me on the streets. What better way to start this inspirational series than with my greatly missed, eclectic friend Miki!
While browsing at the new Forever21 on Newburry Street in Boston, she couldn't help but to purchase these statement pieces.
Teddy Bear Necklace: Miki would wear it with a pair of dark wash jeans, a basic white tee, and a gray blazer to create a contrast with the black and gold in the necklace. She also stated that the bear necklace reminds her of the artwork of Japanese Anime artist Takashi Murakami whom she studied last semester.
Rams Head Brass Ring: Attention grabbing, she would pretty much wear it with anything.
Be sure to wish Miki a very very Happy 20th Birthday! Enjoy!
